In 2005 Maartje Korstanje got her Bachelor degree in Fine Art at AKV|St.Joost. 4 years later she's exhibiting in HVCCA in New York together with Dutch artists as Job Koelewijn, Erik van Lieshout, Marc Bijl en Folkert de Jong.
Last year Maartje Korstanje returned to AKV|St.Joost as a guest teacher. For most of our students New York is just a little too far to visit, but luckily her work is often to be seen in the environnement of Breda en 's-Hertogenbosch.
